He already sang on Quidams arena tour, it could be an old video, or he's returning.

Apologies if this is old news, but I just saw that Quidam's silk artist, Julie Anne Cameron, wrote the following status on her Facebook (which I was stalking) on 21st Feb, 2015:

'One year today, 'Quidam' one of the best shows ever created by Franco Dragone will be closing. Thank you Quidam for at times being my best friend, my life, my purpose, my inspiration, my everything...'

I know we were aware of the planned closure but not sure whether this exact date is new news or not.

I saw that a few weeks ago; it seems like a realistic closing date. Now if only I knew which city...so I could save up to be there for the last performance ;)

Translated to English, the nice story of the Pestov family touring with Quidam for 15 years and how their son went on to juggle with Dralion and Varekai. They mention that Quidam will play in Russia, February 2016. http://ru.hellomagazine.com/zvezdy/intervyu-i-video/9024-akrobaty-nataly...

Yes, it's the original 1997 release Quidam CD. I have one myself. The CD not only features the songs from the soundtrack, but also includes a CD-ROM program (search it up if you don't know what it is). Anyway, the CD-ROM program features original cast photos, live music, and videos (though the videos don't work on my computer). While the live tracks are cool, they are unfortunately only about 10-15 seconds long each and are put on loop, so what you see in the YouTube link there is about the same as what you get on the CD.

They're not listed on the CD. But, from what I've found from the Cirque audition kits, the Spanish Webs song is called "Cordes Lisses" and the handbalancing song is simply called "Handbalancing".

Cloudswing isn't back yet but by looking at a bunch of photos and videos from the current Poland tour, there seems to be a sort of trapeze act like in KOOZA. Found the video on the ERGO ARENA facebook.

Wow. Very interesting. Usually a shows dress rehearsal for the press only give access to acts from the first half and not after intermission. This must be filling the place of contortion with silks as it was not previewed. I saw a clip on Instagram and it uses 'steel dream' previously used for the aerial straps act. Julie Cameron's Instagram account doesn't mention leaving the show so maybe it's just a rotation act.

I'm pretty sure it was like this:
Cloud Swing (1996-2012)
Trapeze (2012/2013)
Cloud Swing (2013)

I don't think Trapeze has been readded though

It is a trapeze act, not the duplex trapeze from before. This one pivots and rotates on a single point.

I'm not sure why the act has been added and under what circumstances, but I presume it is being performed by Spanish Web performer Francois Gravel whose primary discipline is actually dance trapeze (otherwise known as single point trapeze).

https://instagram.com/p/38x2giE5Xu/ here's a clip

The Facebook video and the Instagram clip I watched had him in two different costumes. Honestly as an act added so late in the shows run it looks very good, Denys Tolstov was the handbalancer for Alegria and his juggling act was very minimal and only threeish minutes when they added it. Saltimbanco premiered an aerial straps act late in its run which also screamed 'filler act'. Dralion inexplicably added a solo contortion act.

Looks rather good to me for a new act added in a show. (Comparing to the recent ones we've had)

For all Aussi viewers, there was a preview of skipping (http://www.9jumpin.com.au/show/today/videos/4605855169001/) but to me it seemed pretty lame compared to the potential acts from the show they could've chose as it was a solo performer, not the best way to attract an audience...

Tom1819: Have you come across any ads or billboards for Quidam? I haven't yet, and when Totem was around they were everywhere.

Because it takes typically one artist (the occasional secondary character joins) and minimal props, much of Quidams advanced media presentations for its arena tour have been a solo skipper or solo diabolo. For Seoul and cirque's first time in Bangkok they put on a little bit better a preview, but they've always been bare bones. Also television studios have very limited space. Varekai usually pushes batons for the same reason, Dralions go-to was juggling. cirque's best PR for TV I've seen is the big budget shows like the Tonight Show, the Late Show or "X" has got talent and dancing with the stars.

I understand that they want to limit artists involved, however when you see I skipping live it is a group act (unless they change it) and so unlike baton or juggling it isn't meant to be just one person... Plus hte angles they filmed it at made seeing te tricks difficult at times. I just feel that it is such a waste of money to bring in the bunny who does literally nothing apart from one jump, if it was a row of them like in the show it would be good but one person made the particular trick look like a joke and cirque could've used the money to brig anther artist which actually did something and would attract an audience. The preview didn't exactly flatter the rest of the talent in the show!

Tom1819: True, but they should also be targeting the Sydney market because of Canberra's, Wollongong's and Newcastle's proximity to it. I recall seeing a billboard for Quidam in London but in Manchester and also a photo of a Kooza in Bern poster but in Geneva. It'd be a good idea to advertise in a close city where you've already built a market.

Agreed, it's just that cirque (seemingly) doesn't. Maybe there will be more closer to the premier.

The show is awesome shape, all things taken into consideration. Shame cloudswing is gone again, it was a powerful act and some fantastic music and staging. Enjoy!

It's great to hear that the masterpiece Quidam, like Salti and Alegria has had a strong run through its entire touring life. It sure deserves it and it's the right way for a show to end. Unlike other greats like Zed, Dralion and IRIS that just faltered towards there finale. I mean in there reception as well not just the quality of the show.

To be honest, Dralion wasn't that bad when I saw it.

I didn't really find Quidam that good when I saw it in 2013.
