Cirque music in pieces

Just for a bit of discussion...I'm a theatre student, particularly dealing with Physical Theatre, which heavily uses the body, and delves into the worlds of circus, mask, mime etc.

I've had to make movement pieces before and have used cirque music with them.
- a theatrical plate spinning piece set to "Metamorphosis" from Amaluna
- a piece where I play a marionette, set to "Departure" from Kurios

Just curious, has anyone else done stuff like this? Ever dreamed of making a theatre or movement or circus piece to a specific Cirque song?

I never really listened to Justin Timberlake's new album (20/20) so I'm not that familiar with the song 'Don't hold the Wall' but according to Cirque's new lawsuit, it takes inspiration from Steel Dreams from Quidam and thus Curque is trying to get a cut of all his profits from the song. I listened to them both just now and there is a slight resemblance I admit, but I wouldn't base a lawsuit off of it... Id love to know if you agree with Timberlake or Cirque in this matter

Link to the song is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWd4BJRExNw. Did you listen to the whole thing? Nothing's out of the ordinary until 4:03. Then it's REALLY obvious.

God! I hope they get that cut!!! I don't care if it was in there for a few seconds, it's pretty blatantly ripped off.
