Kurios Seating Recommendations/Suggestions

Any recommendations for Kurios? As close as possible to the stage or some rows back for a better view?

For any show in the big top, I always recommend section 200 row H. It's dead center, there's a big aisle between you and the section in front of you, so there's no one to block you. And for Kurios, well, things may happen :)

Does anyone know where Karl L'Ecuyer is? I have been seeing pictures of Kurios with a stand in playing Micrcosmos.
Just wondering/kurios myself!

Please keep commentary general to Kurios in the proper thread, or make one in the general discussion section if there isn't one already. This thread is strictly for Kurios seating suggestions.

Semi, then the title of this thread NEEDS to be changed to reflect that... Some of us think this is the general Kurios thread because the thread title wasn't specific. You don't have to be a dick about it...

^What Rowelle said.
Semisubtle, who made you the thread Gestapo?

Does anyone know where Karl went?

That little icon that says Administrator makes Semisubtle "thread Gestapo" ;)

However, I looked to see what Forum this topic is listed under on the site. And if you go to "Forum", then "All About Cirque du Soleil", you'll find this particular thread under the "Seating Suggestions" forum. While it is hard to distinguish which forum the topics originated in from the main page, Semisubtle is correct. This topic is in the Seating Suggestions part of the site, rather than general discussion area. *shrugs*

@Richasi, thanks for this tip. Will definitely take it into consideration when I purchase my tix for the show in Miami next month.

Richasi: Ah. So confusing. But I get it now. Yeah, I only use the main page so I have no idea what subcategory this thread is in. Didn't even know this board had subcategories. Thanks for the info. Can you believe I've been a member here for years and just now checked out the forum button with all the categories?

Semi: My apologies.

I too apologize, but you can see why there was confusion!
My bad, I humbly apologize Semisubtle.
Can someone rename this thread to reflect appropriately what its purpose/subject is?

Does anyone know the answer to my question?

Very loose definitions of "dick" and "Gestapo." Hm.

Thank you for explaining, Richasi.

I agree with both of you guys, we need to keep the threads organised, but having to find it's subcategory is difficult not to mention annoying so can we try and make the topic lines clear about cos most of us only use the main page.

Hey Semisubtle, we both apologized, so the extra comments really are not necessary. People make mistakes and in this case you have to admit that it was an easy error to make. The thread is not labeled as it should be, especially the fact that most users just look at the new comments/threads without going through the actual category.

I will leave it at that, and once again apologize for jumping so quickly down your throat with the Gestapo comment, however although this thread is for seating, the title is "Kurios" and all I did was ask a question pertaining to Kurios, easy oversight!

On that note, does anyone know if Microcosmos is still Karl? Should I ask in the other Kurios thread?

I've updated the title of this topic and will continue to do so as people post in other similar threads creating the same confusion. That's the best I can do for now I'm afraid (believe me, if I had better control over some design elements I'd make some more changes). For reference, when viewing from the New & Updated topics page, you can find the forum in the right-hand column.

Yes! Of course! All water under the bridge. :)

And thank you, Tom! I think I am the only one left, or at least the only one who posts, but I didn't create the site so I don't have much control over how things are set up on a fundamental level. I do always want to know how things can be better organized, though.

How much of the Kurios experience would my boyfriend and I miss in section 206? Would love to splurge for center view seats but, unfortunately, that just isn't a viable option any longer. Thanks, as always, for the advice and Merry Christmas!!

I went to Kurios in Atlanta. I had producer seats. Its a good bit of money to have them 500 for two people, however it was well worth it! You get to see the stage right in front as f you as if you are at the soundboard booth. So its not to far back, but also not to close either. If you are willing to shell out that kind of money, then thats the best seat in the house in my opinion.

I will include a picture of my point of view of the stage.

Hey Mungo, I saw Kurios in section 205 (opposite of 206) when I had tickets from a marketing event, and while I wouldn't choose those seats for myself under other circumstances, it was still a good time. I was with some people who had never seen Cirque before and they were blown away regardless. If you have to go for 205 or 206, my recommendation is to get as close to the aisle and front of the section as possible. If it's between you going and not going, definitely go!
