Too bad, I love tranisitions in Cirque shows. Sometimes, they're the best part.

Not all transitions are cut - some of the more artistically and aesthetically pleasing ones are left in :)

Really glad to hear that. Is the finale of the first half in it?

Till today i am really disappointed that Dralions Lantern was cut out from the DVD.

Oh I always thought Dralion's lantern was added way later.

Steamer: Yes, the act 1 finale is there. There's no way they'd cut that out, it's too important! :)

Rowelle: Yes, Lanterne was in since the beginning.

I wish they'd release this on Blu-ray. Or at least put it up in their Video on Demand page because while I'll get the DVD, I'd rather own it in HD. But, good to hear the main cuts are the clown guy and that all the relevant transitions are in.

I was so upset when I noticed the transition acts were cut, I really enjoyed the cactus acts as they were actually well played and funny, compared to previous shows transitions. Part of the dumb soccer ball transition is still in but you can tell there a chunk missing, you'll notice the missing continuity when you watch it. I was hoping to pick up a copy at OVO in Montreal this past weekend, but no DVDs at all.

Nope, they cut that out :/ Essentially, the only clown acts left are the ones where he SPOILERRRRRRRRR tries to catch water in his canteen from the apparatus at the top, and the one where he tries to get water from the pool from the straps act. A tiny bit of his "biking" before handbalancing is left in.

Hey CirqueSpotlight community!

So a while back, way back in 2016, user soytorresg gave me some quick tips on how to capture Luzia from Bell fibe. The program suggested is called Action! and captures and/or streams live computer screens. It is a paid app with a free trial version, however I tested it, and it doesnt work too well, and the free version has its logo plastered top center of the screen. If anyone else knows how to capture and record picture and audio, let me know. Or better yet, if anyone knows how to rip from a PVR direct, that would be ideal. Once I have this, I for sure wouldnt mind sharing the file with my fellow Cirque fan community.

I would love to get ym hands on a hardcopy of the DVD, so if anyone can hook that up, I will be grateful!

Pay it forward people!

Why does it cost so much? I'm seeing the show in Seattle when it comes in late March. If they sell it there, I can buy a few and sell them at face value to any Spotlighters who want it. As long as y'all don't resell that ish on eBay.

Rowelle, yes plz! (and a toruk one if they are selling it!) It's very difficult getting the new dvds in Aus, Kooza is the latest they have and even then thats only because the show is currently here. Other than that its all the really old ones!

Essentially they're selling LUZIA expensive because sellers know that it's a rare commodity outside the tent right now. It would be nice if they would just put it up on the Eboutique!

I recently sent a message to the Eboutique, asking why they do not sell the Amaluna,Toruk and Luzia DVDs.  The response was that they haven't been released yet.  I bought an Amaluna DVD in 2013 in Bloomington, MN, and a Toruk DVD at Luzia in Toronto in 2016.  We all know the Luzia DVD was also just released.  The person who responded really has no clue.

I then sent a message to CdS, asking the same question about Amaluna, Toruk and Luzia DVDs.  Here is their response:
Amaluna is still touring. The DVD is available onsite.Usually only when a Big Top show retires will the DVD be available through our Boutique. However you may make your request at the link below: https://eboutique.cirquedusoleil.com/contacts. You can also purchase the DVD from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Sealed-Cirque-Soleil-Amaluna-Region/dp/B00LCRABFE.  Again, another case of having no clue.

Request? As in we can ask them to sell it to us privately?

I sent a message to the LUZIA Facebook page directly asking about the DVDs. They completely denied they even existed, despite my requests saying that I'll pay for it. And I know for sure that the Facebook page doesn't not have a clue, since the people who post there are advertising managers on site. They just blatantly denied my requests!

I find this whole business really unusual. To me, it seems to be a new thing ever since the new owners came into the picture. I've only noticed a change because a couple years back, I messaged Cirque through their site requesting a new Amaluna DVD (the one I bought at Kurios in Toronto wasn't working). They forwarded me directly to the on-site manager of the Amaluna boutique, who kindly sent me a brand new DVD from their location Houston to my home in southern Ontario, arriving at my home within two weeks and completely free of charge. They didn't even ask me to return the defective one. Meanwhile, I can't even ask them about their products today because they deny they exist.

It's experiences like this that make me think that this odd company-wide opinion on selling products is new. It's certainly noticeable.

I once asked for the name of a performer and one of the show Facebook pages told me they couldn't reveal personal info, and I'm like... all I'd have to do is buy a program and it would list everyone's name, picture, birthday... xD

It depends, like I know that the Quidam arena's facebook page was run by the on tour publicist, who seemed very knowledgable.

Oh my god. What was that?! The filming is horrible. Richasi was right the DVD feels all over the place and totally like they edited it in 10 minutes. That Roue Cyr clip is a mess the music doesn't fit at the right moments. Also I saw a clip of Balançoire on instagram and they literally chopped parts of the beginning and assembled them at the end. I'm really disappointed and mad at how lazy this filming is. :(
